Why do I need to join the Platinum Care Program?

Does the Platinum Care Program apply to only one type of water treatment system? What does it include?
Culligan’s Platinum Care Program is available for water softeners and reverse osmosis systems, featuring unique services for each. The Platinum Care Program for your water softener includes salt delivery for your brine tank, annual tune-ups, control tune-ups, resin rebed, and emergency calls (should the situation arise).
The Platinum Care Program for your reverse osmosis system includes annual filter changes, membrane changes, emergency calls, and an extended 10 year warranty on your system.
Does the Platinum Care Program save me money?
Joining the program for water softeners can save you up to $2,600 over a 5-year period on maintenance costs, emergency calls, and salt delivery. For your reverse osmosis system, you can save up to $1,300 over a 5-year period on annual filter changes, membrane changes and the extended warranty.
Can I sign up if I have an older system?
Signing up for the Platinum Care Program when you first purchase your system is always best. That said, even if you have an older unit, you are still eligible to join the program. Existing systems must be repaired to “factory new” conditions to begin the Platinum Care Program. Any repairs will be at your own expense, but once you have joined, you can start enjoying all the benefits of the program, including the long-term savings.
